Arrangements for September 2020

All students must read this UPDATED guidance presentation which contains detailed information about your return to school in September 2020. Click here to download the presentation.

In September 2020 the school will reopen again for all students.

School will reopen as follows:

  • Tuesday 8 September – Year 7 students only
  • Wednesday 9 September – Students in Years 8-11 return to school

The following video contains important information about what you need to do to stay safe when returning to school in September 2020.

We are very much looking forward to welcoming all students back to school. We have planned very carefully for September and are confident that we can reopen the school to meet everybody’s needs. All our planning has been undertaken in line with government guidance and you can see a copy of our detailed risk assessment by clicking here.

The health, safety and well-being of our students, staff, parents / carers and families remains our number one priority and we continue to work closely with the Trust to make school as safe as possible for everyone.

Full details about the reopening can be found here:

Additional information

The following leaflet has been published by HM Government and contains useful information and guidance parents and carers may find useful. You can read the leaflet by clicking this link.

Face-coverings and masks are also an important part in the fight against the spread of COVID-19 and this World Health Organisation infographic on the essential do’s and don’ts is very useful. The graphic – which can be freely downloaded and printed for children – also shows how to properly wear, adjust and care for your mask.
