The Physical Education department consists of 4 full time teachers. We have a good range of facilities including sports hall, gym, fitness suite, 4 court indoor tennis centre, 3G Astroturf and extensive fields.
We believe in designing our curriculum to suit students in order that their Physical Education lessons are enjoyable and promote a healthy and active lifestyle. In years 7 & 8 we cover a broad and balanced curriculum so all our students have a taste of a wide range of sports. We encourage students to develop their, leadership and social skills through their physical education lessons.
Students are introduced to key concepts in health and fitness along with an introduction to muscular and skeletal systems linked to the KS4 curriculum.
The department offer a wide range of extracurricular activities and fixtures for students to participate in, entering local, regional and national competitions.
