GEORGE PINDAR SCHOOL IS PART OF

Year 7 Catch-up Premium

Year 7 Catch-up Premium

The literacy and numeracy catch-up premium gives schools additional funding to support year 7 pupils who did not achieve the expected standard in English or Maths at the end of key stage 2 (KS2) (Reading or Maths from September 2016).  Until September 2016 the expected standard was a level 4 but moving forward following the removal of ‘Levels’ it is now a standardised score of 100 or more in the KS2 tests at the end of Primary School.
